    This session will evaluate Nigeria’s responsibilities under the African Union Abuja Declaration of 2001 and other workable modes of health financing under the present and foreseeable economic condition of the country.

    This session will examine creative interventions that can be adopted for a more resilient and sustainable health system in Nigeria. It will also assess the performance of primary health centres in Nigeria and the inclusion of rural population in basic health care.

    This session will examine and proffer interventions to address the impact of medical tourism and brain drain on Nigeria’s health sector and overall economy.

    Towards the consensus that health care should be accessible and affordable to all Nigerians, this session will examine the performance of health insurance in Nigeria as against a tax-based financing approach.
